Horse Metamorphosis - a large contemporary red oil painting of beautif
Horse Metamorphosis is a 31.5 x 47x.0.5 inches large contemporary red oil painting of beautiful gold Arabian horse against an abstract bright red background. The golden horse dances in the foreground inside a dark forest with mottled light falling in patches on the path out towards the clearing. The path leads out of the woods and into a glowing summer wildflower meadow. Veils of transparent bright red hang over the scene as the horse begins to emerge from that world into a different one. The painting was started years ago simply to reflect the happiness I get when looking at a beautiful horse but become something more when the red veils were added which gives it a real presence. The original message of the painting was that there is more to life than hiding in the dark. I think now the message is more that there are other realities and that is worth exploring them. It is painted on thin edged canvas painted red, ready to hang.
Modern contemporary painting inspired by English spring gardens. The flowers are raised from the fresh yellow background using textured layers which lets the light catch them, creating a new aspect each time you look at the painting. The fresh colours will complement most colour schemes and the painting continues round the edges of this standard edge canvas so it is ready to hang with no need for framing. This creates a very simple but effective style. This painting has been finished with a protective satin varnish.
Abstract artwork on standard edge box canvas. This is done via a pouring acrylics method. The edges match the front and it can be framed or hung as it is. This work is 8 inches high by 20 inches wide as displayed but can be hung in any direction. Varnished with a resin finish, giving a glass-like appearance, and ready to hang. Postage to mainland UK is included, postage abroad can be quoted for on request.
An imaginary original acrylic painting of a white dove resting on a branch of cherry blossom in a Japanese garden in springtime commissioned for a newly interior designed living space. 80 x 40 cm (32 x 16 inches) 3D deep stretched box canvas. Finished with a satin spray to protect the paint and canvas. I\\\\\\\'m happy to take similar commissions.
EMERGING large oil on canvas deer in autumn forest painting
Emerging is a large oil on canvas deer in autumn forest painting 40x4x1.5 inches with a stag and doe in an autumn forest in art nouveau, impasto, semi abstract style. A large deer stag stands on the left in the foreground looking imperiously at us as stags do, and a doe stands behind him ready to run. Behind them is a forest of pine and birch trees with thick white light hinted at coming through the trees which halo around the deer To the right is the edge of a forest that is morphing into a curtain. I love the idea of stepping out of forests into other worlds entirely and feel that may be what is happening here. I have deliberately left it ambiguous as to what is occurring and I have abstracted the painting by being very detailed in some parts of it and leaving it alone other parts. This better inspires the imagination. As a child I loved (and still do) fairy stories. There is one here I think⦠Painted on deep edge canvas, white edges, ready to hang, no frame necessary.
BRONZE HEGDGEHOG LIMITED EDITION
Its both a wave and a particle until its observed, If you don't like you reality do a quantum swerve! To improve what you've got, find a better feeling thought to improve your lot. Notice what you notice, expand what you see; focus on what you want to change your reality. Painting is framed and will include a printout of the poem which you can hang next to the painting if required. I used Daler Rowney 300g watercolour paper. The words are made to go alternately from small to big in row 1 then big to small in row 2 alternately, and so on, they says "Infinite Possibilities, Focus = Fuel, unboundedness, notice what you say, Happiness is the way." These are all reminders that we create our own reality by what we think and say due to the law of attraction.
POPPIES ON BLACK
I LOVE this painting! The photos really don't do it justice..there are so many colours going on in it..it really is one of my favourite ones ever! The method I have used means that the acrylic paint becomes very unpredictable and there is no knowing how it will end up... I used pure silicon, pure alcohol and a blow torch to create it!! Every time you look at it you will see something new..so many 'cells' containing colours--the metallic ones catch the light beautifully. At the moment it is hanging in a nearby exhibition, but I can take it out if it sells from here.. I have chosen to hang it the way up you see it but you may decide to hang it another way..it is entirely up to you.. It measures 24in x 24in and comes ready to hang in your home or office, It is much more vibrant than it appears on here..the colours really pop out from the canvas,,
