Who's Watching Who? (Framed original)
WHOâS WATCHING WHO? Are Aliens watching you from galaxy's near or far as you drive in your car? Some humans have close encounters as E.Tâs fly around us, UFO sightings when out driving, are aliens out there thriving? Do they live among us, observing as they drive your bus? Thinking what a mess we've made, as the world heats up and the ice caps fade. Do they want to help keep us alive and teach us how we can survive? This original watercolour has a choice of 3 mount colours, please contact me on purchase stating your colour preference. It comes with a certificate of authenticity and the poem will be printed on coloured card to compliment your painting. It is painted on Daler Rowney 300g watercolour paper and framed in a black box frame.
This is one of my naive paintings which was inspired by a short verse written by myself as follows: Panda, Panda what do you see? Is it an elephant up a tree? Or is it Jack who went and sat on a boat going out to sea? I have painted it in mixed media and collage on watercolour paper and it is in a brown wooden frame with a cream mount as illustrated in the photograph. It is also available unframed - please contact me.
Contemporary Chocolate Squares
Warm chocolates and browns make up this modern and contemporary painting. The graduated browns of the four panels set off the raised textured centre sections which have been built up in multi-coloured layers to create embossed swirls of colour and depth. You can see coffee and mocha ripples in the rich chocolatey colours. This is an attractive and fresh painting that would compliment most colour schemes. This painting is completely flexible - the individual squares can be hung in a line, in a square, close together or far apart, straight or from the corners diagonally - have a play! These paintings have been finished with a protective satin varnish.
Abstract artwork on deep edge box canvas. This is done via a pouring acrylics method, then later embellished with multi coloured bubbles, and is varnished ready to hang. The edges match the front and it can be framed or hung as it is. This work is 9 inches high by 12 inches wide as displayed but can be hung in any direction. Varnished and ready to hang. Postage to mainland UK is included, postage abroad can be quoted for on request.
FLIGHT OF THE BUTTERFLY
The Discovery - a woodland wildflower abstract
The Discovery is a 30x40x1.5 inches semi abstract original landscape oil painting of a bluebell glade in a woodland in spring. It was inspired by April in England which is simply the best month of the year as it is when nature, birds, trees, insects and plants are going bonkers in their enthusiasm to reproduce. The painting is semi abstract in style and shows a glimpse of a pond in a a slightly hazy woodland glade. The colours are pinks, lilacs, greens and blues and look like the impression you get when you are in a bluebell wood with your glasses off - blurry and mysterious and magical. I live in Sussex which used to be one massive forest and all over it, it still had thousands of pockets of trees and woods that are ancient and varied in character. All are different in atmosphere though and this adds to their fascination. I love to walk in such places and I try to capture the thrill it gives me and pass in on via a painting. This one says what I want it to very well I think and I hope it inspires others to go walk wherever they are. Listen to birds, watch some nature, smell some flowers and see if life does not then look a whole lot better :-) White edges, deep edge canvas, ready to hang, no frame needed.
Embellished abstract artwork on MDF. This is done via a pouring acrylics method for the background and enhanced by painting on top, and is varnished ready to hang or frame.
