Contemporary painting depicting a silver tree set against a textured, graduated blue background. Additional detail has been added with buttons of differing colours and sizes representing blossom. Would suit most modern homes. I also have a purple version of this painting available. Please contact me for details. The painting continues round the side of the canvas making this ready to hang with no need for framing. This painting is on a standard edge canvas.
Part of my ongoing landscape of the mind series of paintings. This mindscape painting attempts to conjure memories of the dying milltown from my childhood memories. Acrylic on stretched canvas. This painting is strung on the back and ready to hang. The edges are painted white for a clean contemporary look.
Timeless Meadow - An English Meadow in June
40 x 40 x 1.5 inches large original semi abstract oil painting of a Meadow in June in England. The painting gives a view across a hazy green field full of wildflowers. There are trees to the left through which you can see the hint of a lake and a suggestion of marsh flowers and a stream. Silver birch saplings can been seen further down the field. The flowers are pink and purple like foxgloves and there is a shimmering effect caused by thick vertical paint ridges. I have been walking around Mayfield and Wadhurst and this is my memory impression of the beautiful meadow's around those towns and the slightly dull but hot summer day's that we experience alot in England. Painted on deep edge canvas - edges white, no frame needed.
