In hibernation, we find other levels of imagination, reaching higher consciousness with right brain faculties, so our desires become concrete realities. Help me focus on what I want to become so my desire and reality merge into one. Painting is painted on Daler Rowney watercolour paper 300g/m 140lb cold pressed and is framed in a black frame Poem will be printed oput so you can hang it next to the painting if required.
Franceso Hayez Bust
Original charcoal and chalk sketch of Francesco Hayez (10 February 1791 â 21 December 1882) was an Italian painter, the leading artist of Romanticism in mid-19th-century Milan, renowned for his grand historical paintings, political allegories, and exceptionally fine portraits. Part of my tribute to artists collection. Picture is 18 x 13cm within a mounted frame.
Fierce & focused
Layers of patterns form the light and shade to this painting of Kate Moss along with metallic areas. There is a lot of gold in this painting so depending on where the light is coming from it changes the way it looks. It is inspired by the Pop Art movement in general, Klimt's use of gold and patterns, and the bright colours, patterns and squiggles of Ken Done and Keith Haring.
This is an evocative narrative of a young lady taking time to relax while reading a favourite book under the watch of the iconic Mont St Michel on the Normandy/Brittany border in the company of her beloved and iconic Citroen 2CV. The work is painted on a prepared board in a custom made frame set in turn in a contemporary white tray frame.
