HIDEAWAY (Rapunzel meets Sleeping Beauty) Print
Sometimes when Iâve been sociable for days and days on end, I wanna curl up in a ball and wait for the whirlwind to end: time on your own, away from it all, to re-charge your batteries in your own four walls; the luxury of lazing around all day, ignore the doorbell, they'll soon go away! This is a print of my original watercolour painting, it's on A4 sized glossy photo paper, printed on a canon photo quality printer with genuine canon inks. The poem is from my 1st book "The Poetry of Passion (for People with a Pulse) and it's available on amazon or can be ordered from any bookshop. The poem will be printed out for you to hang next to your print if required.
Fierce & focused
Layers of patterns form the light and shade to this painting of Kate Moss along with metallic areas. There is a lot of gold in this painting so depending on where the light is coming from it changes the way it looks. It is inspired by the Pop Art movement in general, Klimt's use of gold and patterns, and the bright colours, patterns and squiggles of Ken Done and Keith Haring.
This is an evocative narrative of a young lady taking time to relax while reading a favourite book under the watch of the iconic Mont St Michel on the Normandy/Brittany border in the company of her beloved and iconic Citroen 2CV. The work is painted on a prepared board in a custom made frame set in turn in a contemporary white tray frame.
