Home is where the heart is; donât see it as a prison; lockdown, sit tight, starve Corona to make things right. The Government are lifting restrictions but that could be suicide; if weâre not all careful and vigilant, then we could all be destroyed! The virus is easily spread: just touch something contaminated, then absent minded, you rub your eye â itâs a recipe to die! The virus is easily spread, get that into your head! Lets starve Covid 19 of human hosts â stay indoors â or weâll end up as ghosts! Millions of deaths globally and still counting, stay home â stop the death toll mounting! If we try and get back to normal too quick, itâll all get worse and more will get sick. The Government want non-essential workers to go ahead, but you canât spend your earnings when youâre dead! Peopleâs lives are more important than the economy, if you agree, then follow me, lockdown for longer, prevent a second spike, itâll be better in the long run, Corona will take a hike! If we act like things are normal, mixing and demonstrating in crowds, weâll be in it for the long haul â thatâs if weâre here at all! Corona will just love it â lots of human hosts to infect, but our lives we MUST protect! Millions of deaths have left loved ones grieving, the way some people carry on has got me seething; our lives are in each otherâs hands, consideration is what this demands, the human race is on the brink, do YOU want to be extinct?

I LOVE this painting! The photos really don't do it justice..there are so many colours going on in it..it really is one of my favourite ones ever! The method I have used means that the acrylic paint becomes very unpredictable and there is no knowing how it will end up... I used pure silicon, pure alcohol and a blow torch to create it!! Every time you look at it you will see something new..so many 'cells' containing colours--the metallic ones catch the light beautifully. At the moment it is hanging in a nearby exhibition, but I can take it out if it sells from here.. I have chosen to hang it the way up you see it but you may decide to hang it another way..it is entirely up to you.. It measures 24in x 24in and comes ready to hang in your home or office, It is much more vibrant than it appears on here..the colours really pop out from the canvas,,
Poppy Field - Large
One of my "large" range of canvases. If you'd like to commission a smaller version of this painting please get in touch. A contemporary painting of a field of fresh, bright poppies. The background is textured with swirls of cream and coffee to set off the bright red petals of the poppies creating a modern style. This is a simple and clean picture that would suit any living space. This painting has been finished with a protective satin varnish.
Whitby, North Yorkshire.
A view of Whitby North Yorkshire, painted from memory looking towards the swing bridge that connects the old side of town from the new. It is painted in a naive style in acrylics on canvas with the painting continuing around the sides so no framing is needed but it could be framed if you wish.
A Fish In A Mystical Place
I love the vibrant colours that leap out of the canvas at you! Turquoise ,cerise pink, along with a dash of yellow in each canvas mingle and merge with each other-creating a slighly different affect on each canvas. Swimming along the top of the top canvas is a sweet little goldfish--I have no idea how he got there! But he lives in a very beautiful, mystical place ! The artwork is made up of 3 chunky canvas-each measuring 8in x 8in and are attached to each other with adjustable thick cords. You can make the gap between each smaller or larger quite easily.I have it adjusted to 24in long. All edges of the canvas's are painted black and the art work has been varnished to protect it. Price includes P+P to mainland UK
Portent, autumn path at sunset with stag
Portent is a 30x30x1.5 inches original square oil painting in oil on canvas of an autumn landscape path at sunset with a deer stag in the centre. It was inspired by a walk I took near the Ashdown Forest, Crowborough area, in November. The deer stands watching, in that challenging way stags sometimes do, and is ready to lead the viewer elsewhere if they decide to walk the path. I painted this as I often see deer on my walks around Sussex and Kent and I often get the feeling they know how to access places that I canât get to. Of all the woodland animals, they are the most ethereal as they can appear and then vanish so fast. Typically with a flash of white bottom that is quite dismissive and makes me laugh. Traditionally, deer are heralded as spirit guides in many cultures so I am not alone in being enchanted by the mystery they have. I created the feeling of movement towards the stag in this painting by blurring the edges and making them out of focus whilst making the deer and centre quite sharp and detailed. I then painted lines of perspective that lead to the aperture with the stag at its heart. I find magic in ancient landscapes and this is an expression of this fairy tale quality. White edges, deep edge canvas, no frame needed, ready to hang.
ANOTHER BRICK IN THE WALL
Heavily textured canvas, portraying inner emotions; building walls around us for protection which also pushes away feelings of experiencing being alive. Having confidence in breaking down the walls, to take chances and remember there is so much to see and feel and enjoy. Sides are painted a dark blue black so no need to frame.
April Echoes is a large green woodland contemporary landscape oil painting of a distant lake seen through the trees of a woodland path. The painting is mostly made up of shades of bright green ranging from yellow greens through to dark viridians, purples and blues. The saplings and trees are dressed in the bright vibrant greens of springtime in England. This painting was inspired by a walk I took around Ardingly reservoir in Sussex. Woodland paths are a very constant source of inspiration for me as you never know where they will lead and what is across the next field, through the next wood and over the next style. It is exciting and you often come across deer, birds and other woodland creatures which adds to experience. This painting was made by blurring the edges of it to look out of focus whilst making the paint thicker and thicker towards the centre. The white of the glimpse of the lake is thickest of all which gives a 3D feeling of walking the path thought the trees and past the foxgloves and other woodland flowers. I dedicate this to everyone who is waiting for the grey winter to give way to spring again. Painted on 3D canvas, white edges, ready to hang, no frame needed.
