Signed and dated by the artist. This painting comes already framed in a 70mm high quality mount (charcoal inner 5mm and cream outer 65mm). The frame is dark oak with an inner gold trim. The total size framed is 540 x 440mm.
A contemporary painting of a field of bright red poppies. I have textured the background with swirls of silver and graphite to set off the bright red petals of the poppies and to create a modern style. This is a simple and clean picture that would suit any living space. This painting has been finished with a protective satin varnish and is on a deep edge canvas.

Diamond Geezer A4 Framed print and Poem
This is a print of my original painting with the poem in a black A4 frame. It is printed on a Canon Flatbed printer with genuine Canon ink. The print is on photo paper. This is the poem in the frame. DIAMOND GEEZER Down and out and a bit of a wheezer, in my day I was a diamond geezer, now I can only dream of my disco diva, and I've got a different kinda night fever! Smoking like a trooper, feeling like a loser; tried to give up but turned into a boozer! Down at the disco, it looked cool to smoke â but Iâm not so cool now as I wheeze and choke! My disco diva ran off to a smoke free zone as I slowly walk round my smoke filled home! Juliette Westbrook-Finch Freepost for UK.

original oil painting - Making it Real
30 x 40 x 1.5 inches semi abstract landscape on canvas of a desire being made real. This is an unusual painting for me in that it took a few years to complete. It was inspired by a desire I have to live in Switzerland - a beautiful country as I found out when I was 20. I fondly recall sitting on the side of a mountain in Interlaken in a field of wild flowers and buttercups and looking down on a glittering blue lake with an ancient wooden church below me and cow bells tinkling beside a waterfall. It was a complete Sound of Music moment and I have not forgotten it. This painting is my attempt to make it real. It is painted in thick textured paint and is multi layered. The purple and green dark colours of the canvas represents the view through dark pine trees that obscures most of the landscape but allows tantalizing glimpses of a lake, mountains, forests, a church and the wildflowers. There are several little cameos showing different aspects of the scene, each one of which goes from fairly realistic to just abstract spots and lines towards the edge of the canvas. The red lines are branches but also look like veins and the dark patches are acting as barriers to the perfect vista as they emotional as well as physical. In summary this is a painting about wanting something and trying to make it real through intention and by simply continuing to create it until it begins to happen. This is how anything is achieved isn't it?...

The Golden Bough
The Golden Bough is a 30x30x1.5 inches contemporary oil painting of an oak tree and a deer in an autumn forest clearing. The painting was created by weaving and layering lots of paint layers in a semi abstract art nouveau style using pale yellows, orange, violets and pinks which give an intriguing glimpse into the heart of a forest. A female deer stands guarding her tree which is an ancient oak matriarch of the forest. The Oak, who has golden leaves, knows exactly what is going on in her wood and has tracked every movement by man and beast over centuries. The painting was inspired by the fact that oak trees and deer do, in fact, have a mystery to them. You always wonder what they would tell you if they would talk. I like the idea of worlds beyond the mundane and have used veils of paint to hint at possible mysteries or fairy tales being revealed. I painted it at this time (Sept 2019) as it is the end of summer and beginning of autumn and it is a palpable change in nature that prompts walks in forests and musings about the stories they could tell :-) Painted on deep edge canvas, white edges, ready to hang.
