African Sunrise triptych
African Sunrise triptych is an example of a commissioned painting. It is worked in highest quality Acrylic paints on 3 quality chunky box canvases. It has a contemporary metallic gold horizon band which picks up low, focal light in the evenings and helps to change the whole flavour of the painting so that it seems to have a different personlity during the day and in the evening. All sides are painted in keeping with the image on the front and as a result the painting is suitable for hanging "gallery-style" without further framing. if you would like to commission a similar painting (in various sizes to suit), please contact me to discuss your requirements on a no-obligation basis.

Tropical holiday depicting a traditional Sailing Dow. There is nothing like unfurling a sail and heading off where the wind takes you, stopping to explore deserted islands or snorkle on colourful coral reefs, dropping anchor in a white sandy bay to have lunch followed by a cooling dip in the sea. The painting continues round the edges of the canvas frame so that it is ready for immediate hanging. This painting has been finished with a protective satin varnish.
