St John the Baptist Church, Aylmerton.
My local church nestles gently in the norfolk countryside. It's one of Norfolks' round towered churches. I've exaggerated the colours and made use of my favourite Gold paint...It's height of summer as can be seen from the cloudless cerulean sky and the trees which are in full green leaf.
Contemporary painting of sailing yachts. Warm browns and sepia tones have been used to create this modern painting with clean white horses visible as the boats plough through the waves, catching a strong wind. The paint has been applied in layers to add a textured look and feel to this modern and contemporary painting. The painting continues round the edges of the canvas frame so that it is ready for immediate hanging. This painting has been finished with a protective satin varnish. This painting is on a standard edge box canvas.

The painting continues round the edges of the canvas frame so that it comes ready for immediate hanging with no need for framing. This painting has been finished with a satin protective varnish.

Weybourne Mill 2
Weybourne Mill is close to the village where I live, and is now residential accommodation. The Mill sits close to the seas' edge and cliff tops and is surrounded by golden fields, edged with deep green hedgerows. Some old Norfolk barns can just be seen beyond the hedge. Fluffy white clouds scud across the sky giving the appearance that, as in days gone by, the sails may turn at any moment.
A vibrant sunset seascape inspired by holidays in the Maldives and Phillipines. I love the effect of silhouetted trees against the natural firey colours at sunset. Warm graduated oranges, red and yellows make this sunset scene an interesting focal point for any room. The painting continues round the edges of the frame making this ready for immediate hanging with no need for framing. This painting is protected with a silk varnish.
