After the Storm
Dragonflies and Foxgloves
This fantasy painting has been created using acrylic , oils and encaustic wax.Its mainly monochrome but I have added some colour in the form of foxgloves and dragonflies using melted wax. The water and light coming through the trees are created using oil paint--it works well and gives a lovely translucent effect. The sides are all painted and its been varnished to protect it. It comes strung ready to hang in the room of your choice! Rough Seas at Stonehaven
Sunset depiction of a lone oak tree silhouetted against a sky alive with colour. Reds, pinks, purples and whites swirl together to make a striking sunset. The painting continues round the edge of the canvas making this ready for hanging with no need for framing. It has been finished with a protective satin varnish. This painting is on a standard edge box canvas.
This is a large artwork on a regular depth canvas. The artwork looks great unframed and is currently so. This painting is very much an impact piece and will provoke discussion amongst viewers. The photo does not do the painting justice as it looks a great deal more eye catching and vibrant in real life.
