Top of Langford Road, Burley. 2016
Description:
Once you reach the top of Langford Road you meet Station Road and directly across is Langford Lane. At the entrance to Langford Lane there is a row of cottages that have been there since at least the 19th century. This painting shows part of the row of those cottages.

Description:
This is an unusual view of the Cow and Calf Rocks. Seen from Denton road as it turns past Ilkley lido. This painting is one of six paintings from yet another of my series of the Cow and Calf Rocks. This time painted in 2019.

The Calf Rock at sunset 2015
Description:
Calf Rock is on Ilkley moor. Here the rock is caught at sunset at the end of a day in summer. The town of Ilkley and it's environs are in the distance, but can hardly be seen because of the dazzling light of the sunset.

A Day Away
Description:
This is No.18 in my `Northern Art` Collection...all the other 17 have been sold, and they seem to becoming quite a collectable item. They are all the same size, just a tactile 14" x 10" x half an inch thick. Painted on my own HANDMADE canvas boards. Sides are also painted so ready to hang, no frame required.
Here the grandparents have taken the nippers away for a day out, from the smog, and fog of the sooty town.
These paintings all have the same theme of a bygone era of the northern mill towns.

Lighthouse
Description:
Eye catching seascape painting. The foreground has been textured with sand and gravel to draw the eye in and add extra detail and depth to the painting. The silver sea reflects the light making this eye catching and original. There is also texture on the rocks and headland. Golden Pearls
Description:
I painted this with the sea-bed in mind, using cotton threads mixed with acrylic paint to create a feeling of weed moving in the current, and beads are the pearls within the weed. This painting can be hung in anyway to your personal preference or space, and I have signed the reverse.
