Description:
This is my favourite painting in my Monet Versions collection. I particularly like the light on the snow and the blue colours. Should you commission me I will paint another one of this painting for you. Obviously it is not exactly the same as Monet's original and I am glad of that as I wish the painting to contain more of me. The only thing the same is the subject matter.

Birch Trees
Description:
The latest in my Birch Tree series of paintings... A diptych -each canvas measures 12in x 24in Lots of lovely texture,,the painting continues around the sides of both canvas.I have used high quality acrylic paint and canvas as always!

Norwich Market in the rain
Description:
Acrylic painting on canvas-board, ready to frame. This is painted from a photo taken by my neice of Norwich market on a rainy day. the vibrancy of the flowers against the rain attracted me. I may have taken a little artistic leeway in colours and changing the buildings to suit - I'm an artist, its allowed ;-)

River Sunset

Warm graduated oranges, red and yellows make this sunset scene over water an interesting focal point for any room. Trees, bushes and reeds are reflected in the calm evening river. The Calf Rock afternoon in early Autumn (2015
Description:
Again another painting of the Calf Rock viewed again from the base of the larger Cow Rock. In the distance is the Cow and Calf Inn where many of the tourists to Ilkey Moor stay during their visit. I used a bit of what they call "artistic license" and did not include in the painting the large car park which is situated between the inn and the rock. I thought it didn't "fit" and was unpainterly.

Portrait of Gail
Description:
This is a portrait of my friend Gail which she commissioned me to paint for her. It stands proudly on the a wall in her house and is much admired by her family. I have included it in this gallery as I feel it to be a good example (along with the other two) of my technique in painting portraits. If you would like to commission me to paint a portrait please be advised that it will be done in the same manner (using prime colours and white only) as this one and the other two in this gallery.

Contemporary Chocolate Squares
Description:
Warm chocolates and browns make up this modern and contemporary painting. The graduated browns of the four panels set off the raised textured centre sections which have been built up in multi-coloured layers to create embossed swirls of colour and depth. You can see coffee and mocha ripples in the rich chocolatey colours. This is an attractive and fresh painting that would compliment most colour schemes. This painting is completely flexible - the individual squares can be hung in a line, in a square, close together or far apart, straight or from the corners diagonally - have a play! These paintings have been finished with a protective satin varnish.

Description:
This is the first of my Monet versions. I painted it because an artist friend of mine was convinced that not only could I paint them, but also sell them on line. This idea never came to fruition, but because I enjoyed painting versions of Monet's originals I painted many more, but keep them for myself, but as I have Mentioned before I will gladly paint another if you want.

Atmospheric scene with lots of textured detail.I have used dark silver metallic paint on the trees that catches the light when it is on the wall.I have used lots of bold colour for the leaves and foliage.
Part of my popular Birches series.

Sail Away
Description:
Contemporary sailing boat. Clean white horses stand out against the blue, green and turquoise waves as the cutter runs ahead of the wind. These boats were used in the original Americas Cup races and I love the beauty of them under full sail. The paint has been applied in layers to add a textured look and feel to this modern and contemporary painting.
