Contemporary sailing boat. Clean white horses stand out against the blue, green and turquoise waves as the cutter runs ahead of the wind. These boats were used in the original Americas Cup races and I love the beauty of them under full sail. The paint has been applied in layers to add a textured look and feel to this modern and contemporary painting. The painting continues round the edges of the canvas frame so that it is ready for immediate hanging. This painting has been finished with a protective satin varnish. This painting is on a standard edge canvas.
Axe Edge from Burnage Moor
A combination of unusual colours that work really well together! The dark turquoise green and purple make this painting a little different.. I have used high quality acrylic paint on a chunky 80 cm x 30cm , all of the sides are painted and it does not require a frame. I have used a pretty ,sparkly paint to add the stars in the sky. The painting is strung, varnished and ready to hang,, Reduced by £50 I will donate 25% of sales to the O'Connor Cancer Unit at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital where my son is being treated.
A relaxing Tuscan scene in purple and brown vibrant colours. This painting will look stunning in any room and add an interesting focal point. The painting continues round the edges of the frame so it is ready to hang with no need for framing. This creates a very simple but effective style. This painting has been finished with a protective satin varnish. This painting is on a standard edge canvas.

abstract artwork on standard edge box canvas. This is done via a pouring acrylics method, and is varnished ready to hang. The edges match the front and it can be framed or hung as it is. It matches artworks A35 and A36, made from the same batch mix of paint. I offer discount for multi purchases so contact for details if interested. This work is 8 inches high by 10 inches wide as displayed but can be hung in any direction. Varnished and ready to hang. Postage to mainland UK is included, postage abroad can be quoted for on request. commissions I accept commissions for these pouring acrylics, you choose size and colours from 3 to 8, and I'll do two paintings, you choose which you want. Its an unpredictable way of painting so results are very variable. If you want a bias of one or two colours, or mainly cells or stripes/bands of colour, I'll do my best but can't be precise. I don't want anyone buying an artwork they're not happy with, so though I ask for a non-refundable deposit of 25% final purchase price towards costs of materials, I won't hold you to buying if you really don't like either of the final results, but I'm certain that just won't happen. Cost depends on size, for example these 8 x 10 inch paintings are all £24 inc P&P, 6 x 16 inches at £28, 8 x 20 inches at £44, and square at 20 x 20 inches at£84. I can do other sizes on request. P&P to mainland UK included in price. Delivery by myhermes courier service. Postage abroad can be quoted for on request.

The Raven's Wood
30 x 30 x 1.5 Original oil of an English woodland path. The colours are summer to autumn and there is raven circling above the trees watching as you walk her path. The painting was made after a walk in the Ashdown Forest where ravens and crows seemed to report my progress for the entirety of my journey. I never underestimate birds - they know far more than we assume and I would not be surprised if the Green Man himself is their boss. The painting is quite 3D in aspect and the colours shimmer and change throughout the day as the sunlight moves round the room. The style is impressionist, semi abstract. The edges are white with a hint of lilac and no frame is needed.
