One of my new "large" range of canvases. If you'd like to commission a smaller version of this painting please get in touch. Scots pines stand guard on a hilltop. This painting has been built up in layers to show texture and contrast. There are gold swirls in the foreground and the rich golden trees stand out against the cream background. The painting continues round the edges of the canvas making it ready to hang with no framing necessary. This painting has been finished with a protective satin varnish.
White roses and blue velvet
A cluster of single white roses, similar to Kiftsgate, picked from my garden in July are arranged into a still life on folds of midnight blue velvet. Tiny white petals on the roses have golden stamens, a few petals have fallen from the spray onto the velvet. The fabric is folded over and back on itself creating deep Prussian shadows and soft highlights along the top of the folds.
Golden Cherry Blossom
This large contemporary painting depicts white cherry blossom against a rich golden textured background. Would suit most modern living spaces. The painting continues round the edges of the canvas making this ready to frame with no need for framing. This painting has been finished with a protective satin varnish.
Contemporary painting of rich red poppies against a contemporary turquoise blue and gold background. The background is textured with different layers for added interest. The painting continues round the edges of the canvas making it ready to hang with no framing necessary. This painting is on a deep edge box canvas and has been finished with a protective satin varnish.
Into the Distance
Calming mountain vista in graduated blues. The relaxing colours in this painting will complement most colour schemes and brighten any room. The painting continues round the edges of this box canvas so it is ready to hang with no need for framing. This creates a very simple but effective style. This painting has been finished with a protective satin varnish.
A different view on things here...a squirrels eye view to be exact! Everyone has stopped and looked up through the trees at the sky.... St John the Baptist Church, Aylmerton.
My local church nestles gently in the norfolk countryside. It's one of Norfolks' round towered churches. I've exaggerated the colours and made use of my favourite Gold paint...It's height of summer as can be seen from the cloudless cerulean sky and the trees which are in full green leaf.
Contemporary painting of sailing yachts. Warm browns and sepia tones have been used to create this modern painting with clean white horses visible as the boats plough through the waves, catching a strong wind. The paint has been applied in layers to add a textured look and feel to this modern and contemporary painting. The painting continues round the edges of the canvas frame so that it is ready for immediate hanging. This painting has been finished with a protective satin varnish. This painting is on a standard edge box canvas.
