The Roundhouse, Burley, sunrise. (2017)
Description:
This is the first of a series of seven paintings of a local building called The Roundhouse. Painted on a summer's day at different times of that day from sunrise to nightfall. Fortunately for me four of them have sold and this is one of the remaining unsold ones. The Roundhouse in Burley in Wharfedale belongs to the nearby large Victorian building called The Grange. I believe The Roundhouse used to be a conservatory of some sort. It is now mainly used as a tea room.

Description:
Part of my very popular Birches series of paintings.
I have used a subtle metallic silver paint for the birches in this picture.
It catches the light beautifully.
The painting continues around all of the sides of the painting and it does not need framing.

The Terrace Row, Pontsian (3)
Description:
The old row is the first thing you see as you approach the village of Pontsian over the bridge (Sian's Bridge) which gives the village it's name. The row has changed since it was built to serve the farmers and locals with its store, Woollen Mill and stables. The Store remains. Other parts have been converted but there beauty has been preserved.
