I have really enjoyed creating this work. I have used coloured beeswax and an electric iron, melting the wax directly onto the glass....
the colours are vibrant and all sort of things have appeared in the wax--in the close up photo you can see lots of eyes--at least I can!
Because of the nature of the melted wax--each painting created using this method will be completly unique.

I have used some metallic colours-silver,gold,green and violet-they catch the light beautifuly!I have reversed the glass into the metallic dark red/copper metal frame so the wax is protected.

The Silver Birches

The very latest in my Birch Tree Series.The art work is on 2 12in x 24in chunky canvas.I have used warm shades of creams,chocolate browns and reddish browns in the background.
The birch trees have been painted using a silver paint with brown highlights...the light catches the silver beautifuly and the trees seem to stand out from the canvas.

Midnight Moon
Description:
My series of silhouette paintings including the "Yesterday" ones have proved to be very popular-so here is the latest one!
The sky is painted beautiful rich shades of purples that are lit up with a large moon-I have used a subtle gold glitter paint on the moon which catches the light.
A little rabbit looks out from under the tree at the wonderous sight.
It measures 12in x 24in on a chunky canvas-all sides are painted.

Enchanted Evening

This painting has been painted onto a staple free cicular canvas measuring 40cm in diameter.

The painting is based on the Welsh coast where we have spent many happy days and evenings.
I have used shades of purple, mauve, pinks and creams with the rocks and grass in black-silhouetted against the sky and water.
The water has been created using a special metallic paint that shimmers and catches the light.

FAMILY TREE
Description:
Family tree seemed an apt name for this painting- it shows a daddy tree, a mummy tree and a small baby tree all together in a snowy landscape painting!
I have used prussion blue with a touch of black for the coldness-the bright white snow stands out lovely against it.
The sides have not been painted but can be if required at no extra charge-it can also be framed in a black frame for an extra charge of £15.
