Windmills of my mind
This is a panoramic (length 26.5 x width 9 inches) original impressionist watercolour painting of 5 windmills silhouetted against the sky adjacent to a dutch dyke (a great deal of Holland is below sea level). The scene is painted from a photograph taken at dawn as the sky lights up above the mist rising over the still water in the dyke. This painting will be supplied with a bevelled mount and a glazed black frame.

Ships of the line
'Escape' started life as a series of purely random shapes connected by the white space between them. The image then grew to a point where I instinctively knew it was time to stop. As the originator, I see a head on the left the image (which contains red) with an open mouth... this combined with the overall image evoked in me a feel of fleeing or escaping. Other viewers see something completely different... Printed (Giclee) on 310 gms Museum Heritage Archival Fine Art Paper. Prayer to a Fox
An original gouache painting of a fox entitled 'Prayer for a Fox'. This piece includes the wiccan symbols for 'intelligence' and 'blessings' as well as a symbol for home protection. In short I wish the clever fox well in its life but suggest that it stays away from my chickens! I have used the finest Winsor and Newton designer gouache paints (including a glorious gold!) and Indian Ink for the black background, all painted on 300gsm hot pressed, acid free, smooth watercolour paper. 10% of the sale of this item will go to a wildlife charity.
A moody, stormy sky over a grassy bank of beautiful red poppies and grasses.. some texture in the water with thick waves coming onto the beach. The poppies have some texture to them too. I have used oil paint to create the picture and it is ready to hang when it arrives. 25% of all sales will be donated to the O'Connor haematology/cancer unit at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital where my son is being treated.
