All Seeing Eyes
This woodcut print was created to celebrate the Gothic cleverness and beauty of the raven-some are even able to speak! Very Edgar Alan Poe! This design has been handcarved on to Japanese professional grade Shino Ply, which has a beautiful distinctive grain, which means every print is completely unique. Each raven image is printed using Cranfield UK made water based ink onto thick 250gsm 100% recycled white card. The image is printed into the middle of an A4 sheet, leaving a crisp thick white border, so there is no need for a mount. This is a limited edition of 150.Each print will be signed and dated. This is a portrait of border collie Danny. He is a working sheepdog on a Pennine hill farm. This is painted on a standard stretched canvas based on a number of photographs which I took at his home and in his natural environment. The work is framed in a simple contemporary tray frame measuring 68cm x 53cm x 35mm overall. I am happy to undertake similar works on a commission basis. Please contact me for details.
A surreal image that emerged organically from the process of blending watercolours and pencils with random shapes. The overall mood of the image is 'expectant'. The piece comes complete with a double mount on conservation grade mount board with conservation barrier backboard (including cellophane wrap). Mount colour: Black - inner bezel colour: white.
Atmospheric scene with lots of textured detail.I have used dark silver metallic paint on the trees that catches the light when it is on the wall.I have used lots of bold colour for the leaves and foliage. Part of my popular Birches series. Painted in high quality acrylic paint on a box canvas. I have painted all of the sides so it does not require a frame. It has been varnished to protect it. 25% of the price will be donated to the O'Connor Haematology/Cancer Unit at the RSH where my son is being treated. reduced by £55
abstract artwork on standard edge box canvas. This is done via a pouring acrylics method, and is varnished ready to hang. The edges match the front and it can be framed or hung as it is. This work is 6 inches high by 16inches wide as displayed but can be hung in any direction. Varnished and ready to hang. Postage to mainland UK is included, postage abroad can be quoted for on request. These works are not archival, its a newish technique and there isn\'t data to support longevity. They may last 5 years, they may last 50 but that\'s why i\'m selling them at bargain prices. I can use only archival materials on request but those works will cost more commissions I accept commissions for these pouring acrylics, you choose size and colours from 3 to 8, and I'll do two paintings, you choose which you want. Its an unpredictable way of painting so results are very variable. If you want a bias of one or two colours, or mainly cells or stripes/bands of colour, I'll do my best but can't be precise. I don't want anyone buying an artwork they're not happy with, so though I ask for a non-refundable deposit of 25% final purchase price towards costs of materials, I won't hold you to buying if you really don't like either of the final results, but I'm certain that just won't happen. Cost depends on size, for example 8 x 10 inch paintings are all £24 inc P&P, 6 x 16 inches at £33 , 8 x 20 inches at £52, and square at 20 x 20 inches at£84. I can do other sizes on request.
The Wolf within...
The Wolf within... this final image emerged from a series of shapes which initially had no particular form. As the process progressed, the shape of a wolf beneath the shapes began to emerge. The mood is deep and contemplative, representing a part of us all... Prints are available. Contact me for details or visit my website for further information.
