Hedgehog - pencil drawing
Hedgehog drawing. An original pencil drawing of a pygmy hedgehog, drawn with soft graphite pencils on cream paper and mounted, ready to frame. I love attending Wildlife Drawing sessions, and a couple of years ago got the opportunity to sketch (and hold!) some gorgeous pygmy hedgehogs. This particular hedgehog has such a lovely friendly face, that I'm sure this piece of art will make you smile every time you see it! The drawing itself measures about 6" x 8", and has been sealed inside an 8" x 10" ivory coloured mount. I've included an example of how it could look framed, but please note the frame is not included, only the mount.
This beautiful pink and purple tree was inspired by seeing the blossom on the trees, but with the bad weather recently i felt if i put it on a monochrome background it would depict how the signs of springtime and all its beauty was on its way, and even though the skies were dull, the beauty of the blossom and hues of pinks still shone through despite nature trying to dull it down.

Shimmering Spring - a landscape paintings with blossom
40 x 40 x 1.5 inches large original semi abstract oil painting of a Spring forest landscape with blossom trees. This painting is muted in tones and full of white, cream, pale pinks and lilacs and caramel colours. It is art nouveau and semi abstract in style and shows woodland view with trees and a lake and a small deer stag on the left. It started life as a much brighter painting but I liked it better once I had toned it down. At a glance it looks like a neutral toned abstract but as you look closer you see the blossom and the trees and the get the feeling of Spring. The deer presides over this scene as he does in many of my landscapes. This is his space domain and he is the spirit of the forest and the season. Painted on deep edge canvas - edges white, no frame needed.

All Seeing Eyes
This woodcut print was created to celebrate the Gothic cleverness and beauty of the raven-some are even able to speak! Very Edgar Alan Poe! This design has been handcarved on to Japanese professional grade Shino Ply, which has a beautiful distinctive grain, which means every print is completely unique.
