ring tree, snowflake obsidian, clear quartz, crystal points
A ring tree ornament, created from black wire, twisted into a tree shape and containing semi precious gems snowflake obsidian, clear quartz, and crystal points, interspersed with bugle beads. Its wound around a wire circle and can be hung as an ornament against a wall or a dreamcatcher in a window. Its hand made, and makes a unique gift.
This is Claudine, a beautiful young lady of French Polynesian origin who, with her husband Armand, runs a marvellous little restaurant just off the chic (and very expensive) main street in the town of Aix-en-Provence in the south of France former home of Paul Cezanne. Their very reasonably priced restaurant is one for the gourmet and serves meals in a wonderfully romantic atmosphere enhanced by the mellow lighting from the candles, hence the inspiration for this painting. The work is painted in oil on a stretched canvas and is set in a contemporary dark mahogany effect tray frame measuring 88 cm x 68 cm x 35mm overall. It is strung ready for immediate hanging.
All Seeing Eyes
This woodcut print was created to celebrate the Gothic cleverness and beauty of the raven-some are even able to speak! Very Edgar Alan Poe! This design has been handcarved on to Japanese professional grade Shino Ply, which has a beautiful distinctive grain, which means every print is completely unique. Each raven image is printed using Cranfield UK made water based ink onto thick 250gsm 100% recycled white card. The image is printed into the middle of an A4 sheet, leaving a crisp thick white border, so there is no need for a mount. This is a limited edition of 150.Each print will be signed and dated. Patience or Extinction (A4 Print of my Original Painting)
This is an A4 print of my original Painting, it is printed with genuine canon inks on a canon flatbed printer. The poem will be printed on coloured card to compliment the Artwork. PATIENCE OR EXTINCTION? Home is where the heart is; donât see it as a prison; lockdown, sit tight, starve Corona to make things right. The Government are lifting restrictions but that could be suicide; if weâre not all careful and vigilant, then we could all be destroyed! The virus is easily spread: just touch something contaminated, then absent minded, you rub your eye â itâs a recipe to die! The virus is easily spread, get that into your head! Lets starve Covid 19 of human hosts â stay indoors â or weâll end up as ghosts! Millions of deaths globally and still counting, stay home â stop the death toll mounting! If we try and get back to normal too quick, itâll all get worse and more will get sick. The Government want non-essential workers to go ahead, but you canât spend your earnings when youâre dead! Peopleâs lives are more important than the economy, if you agree, then follow me, lockdown for longer, prevent a second spike, itâll be better in the long run, Corona will take a hike! If we act like things are normal, mixing and demonstrating in crowds, weâll be in it for the long haul â thatâs if weâre here at all! Corona will just love it â lots of human hosts to infect, but our lives we MUST protect! Millions of deaths have left loved ones grieving, the way some people carry on has got me seething; our lives are in each otherâs hands, consideration is what this demands, the human race is on the brink, do YOU want to be extinct?
My thanks to Isabel Morelli for the reference photograph. "Don't ruffle my feathers"! one blue and yellow macaw seems to be saying to the other in this pencil painting by Elaine Jones. The blue and yellow, or blue and gold macaw, ara ararauna, is native to tropical South American woodland and can grow to 30-34 inches and a weight of 2 or 3 pounds. These large, long-lived members of the parrot family are widespread in much of South America and are popular as pets because of their brilliant plumage, intelligence and ability to talk. In the wild they nest in dead palm trees and pairs usually mate for life, often reaching an age of 30-35 years. This original pencil painting is presented in a cream mount/matte ready for framing. (Image size approx. 29cm x 21cm" - external size 35cm x 28cm)
I love this little painting! The colours are so vibrant in "real Life" I even managed to get some texture in it making it look like there are pieces flying off a comet. I have used some metallic paint in parts and it really catches the light.. Turquoise blue, yellow, orange merge with the black paint. Some lovely effects on there that my camera isnt picking up.. Silver Poppy Trio
A contemporary painting of a three silver poppies. I have textured the background with swirls of silver and graphite to set off the bright petals of the poppies and to create a fresh modern style. This is a simple and clean picture that would suit any living space. This painting has been finished with a protective satin varnishand is on a standard edge canvas.
