I have been unable to get decent photos of this large landscape ...oranges and reds just don't come out with the detail that is in them.....there is a lot more going on than is showing up well!

A Spiral of Crows
Description:
A Spiral of Crows is a painting of Sussex winter landscape with a spiral of crows leading into the distance of a woodland path. It is 30x30x1.5 inches and was painted after a walk I took around Standen area near East Grinstead one November. It is painted in an expressionist style and in very thick impasto paint.I have a great affection for crows and ravens who I am convinced monitor me when I am walking and report back to each other. The spiral in this painting possibly leads to another dimension. I like to think so. The colours of this painting are very much England in winter colours and I am pleased with this as I am always trying to capture moments of time with these paintings. The location if you want to walk around here is: RH19 4NE. It is painted on deep edge canvas, 30x30x1.5 inches, white edges, ready to hang.

Echo With Movement
Description:
I have had great fun creating some colourful abstract paintings lately.. As I have become more disabled it has been harder for me to continue to use brushes like before.. this new technique to me enables me to use colour without them...
This artwork is 2 canvas each 8in square..I have chosen to hang them as shown,hanging in a diamond shape the red paint from the top one appears to be continuing down onto the the canvas hanging below to one size ..
There is so much to see when you study them..far more detail than can be seen in these photos..
The paintings continues around all sides, and they have been varnished to protect them... I have not strung these canvas , as there are so many different ways they can be hung.. They will sit happily on a small tack placed in the wall.
