A New Summers Day
Description:
This large 36in x 36in deep edge canvas will brighten any room it hangs in.
A New Summers Day is my signature painting ,but has only been painted in this size once before.
Created using high quality oil paints, it has been a long time in the making due to my ill health..and could be the only one I paint for a long time.
Lots of lovely textures abound in the painting.
I have used a knife to create the waves--this gives a lovely textured finish, and the thick paint used to do the poppies adds more detail that stands out from the canvas.. There is a very subtle twinkle on the sea as the light catches it..
The painting continues around all of the sides and it does not require a frame..
P+P in mainland UK is included in price but personal delivery and hanging is possible, please contact me for details.

Whitby Harbour
Description:
This a lovely view of Whitby harbour looking over towards the Abbey on top of the cliffs with the old town nestling beneath it. I have painted it in oils on a 30 x 20 inch panel. It is varnished and ready to hang if you buy it with the frame. The price includes the frame which is a 2 inch wide brown wooden frame with an inner gold line as in the photo. The size of the painting plus the frame is 34 x 24 inches. If you wish to buy it unframed please contact me - the price will be 435 pounds.

Forest Monarchs
Description:
Forest Monarchs is large contemporary oil painting of a deer stag and a doe against an abstract autumn forest background. It is painted in thick luxurious paint in warm autumn colours. The deer stand in the centre of the canvas with light behind them and trees in the foreground which they are merging with ââ¬â as deer seem to do in real life. They are fallow deer which you see often in English countryside. This painting was inspired by the deer at Knole Park in Sevenoaks when I was there last October. There is a long shallow valley which runs down the middle of the park which has families of deer in the trees either side that bellow and parade around at that time of year. No matter how many deer I see, I am still captivated by them and have tried to show the magical nature of them. The painting style is messy art nouveau and because it is painted in thick paint, has facets to it that reflect slightly different colours at different times of day. The size is 40x40x1.5 inches, white edged, deep edge canvas, ready to hang and no frame needed.

Sardine and Lemon
Description:
This is an original acrylic on canvas of an abstract sardine and half a lemon ready to be cooked. The sides of the canvas are painted so this can be hung unframed but I think it would look better in a frame. It is an ideal painting for a kitchen or dining room.
