Barn in Lyttleton
When Shaun creates a piece of work the process is mainly based on his experimenting with colour and textures combined with his emotions and environment at that time. On completion his aim is for you the viewer to see their own interpretation when looking at the artwork. His paintings are not primarily intended to create definitive images although that is what you the viewer may perceive. However, if asked from his perspective, Shaun would say using multi-layers of paint, textures and colours are more important. Mixed media onto a matt wooden frame, with high gloss panels. Colours will vary slightly from screen resolution. Room example only not too scale. Signed on the back. With certificate of authenticity.
An unusual depiction of a female nude with a dramatic lighting effect. The work is set in a contemporary dark mahogany effect tray frame measuring 68 cm x 48 cm x 35mm overall, strung ready for hanging. The painting is currently on display in an exhibition in Aix-en-Provence, France - though not for sale there) but can be reserved for delivery in early July. That said the current situation with the Covid 19 pandemic renders all expected dates a little out of control. Please contact me for further information.
