Summer Calls is a 16x40x1.5 inches wide panoramic oil on canvas painting of a summer landscape with swallows with an abundance of wildflowers which makes the colours rainbow and very vibrant. This painting represents a fond memory of last summer in the fields near where I live in Forest Row. There is a shallow valley of mostly farmland which attracts swallows each summer and I really enjoy watching them wheeling up and down of over the corn fields which have wildflowers growing at the edges. It has been painted as part of a series of four landscapes about the seasons.
Modern contemporary painting of a field of fresh summer flowers depicted in warm metallic tones. Set against a dark graphite background this painting has a modern feel and will complement most colour schemes. The light shines off the flowers accentuating the texture and bringing the painting to life from all angles. This painting has been finished with a protective satin varnish and with the colour continuing round the edges of the canvas it is ready for immediate hanging.

Poor Little Betty
This painting was inspired by a short surreal verse written by myself which reads as follows: "Poor little Betty slept on a jetty all day and night. Cat's whiskers grew long and all day the sun shone while Jonathan flew his kite". It is painted in mixed media and collage on watercolour paper and is available in a gold frame as illustrated. Please contact me if you would like it unframed - the price will be £155.
Afloat in the sun
The Arrival is a 16x40x1.5 inches wide panoramic oil on canvas painting of a spotted male fallow deer running across a semi abstract forest landscape. There are trees behind him and a tree tunnel towards the middle. The stag looks as though he has just touched down and is running to avoid toppling over. He is intent of arriving somewhere. The colours are predominantly orange and green which gives a golden autumn landscape feel to the scene. On deep edge canvas, no frame needed.
A beautiful swath of coloured bubbles cross this canvas. Mainly vibrant blues, purple and turquoise with some orange top and bottom. I have used some metallic in this painting that catches the light.
