Sky Born is a seascape painting on canvas that was inspired by the sea gulls, sea and sky at Seaford in Sussex. It is an original oil on canvas and is 30x40x1.5 inches. The painting shows a big sky with many layers of colour and clouds twisting around each other which gives the painting a sense of energy and movement. The sea is white with white sparkles. In the centre are three kittiwake sea gulls flying in harmony as birds often do. These birds live on a certain cliff in Seaford and are protected. I have spent many happy hours with my head hanging over the cliff top watching the gulls and enjoying the rolling clouds and sparkling sea. I hope this painting conveys the joy that a cliff top walk can bring. To see this for yourself, go to Postcode BN25 1BW. It is on deep edge canvas with white edges, no frame needed, ready to hang
I LOVE this painting! The photos really don't do it justice..there are so many colours going on in it..it really is one of my favourite ones ever! The method I have used means that the acrylic paint becomes very unpredictable and there is no knowing how it will end up... I used pure silicon, pure alcohol and a blow torch to create it!! Every time you look at it you will see something new..so many 'cells' containing colours--the metallic ones catch the light beautifully. At the moment it is hanging in a nearby exhibition, but I can take it out if it sells from here.. I have chosen to hang it the way up you see it but you may decide to hang it another way..it is entirely up to you.. It measures 24in x 24in and comes ready to hang in your home or office, It is much more vibrant than it appears on here..the colours really pop out from the canvas,,

Port Macquarie Beach
A view looking over the rooftops of Whitby on the East coast of North Yorkshire towards the swing bridge that connects the old side to the new. It is painted in acrylics on a stretched canvas in a naive style with the painting continuing around the sides so no framing is required but it could be framed if you so wish.
This a lovely view of Whitby harbour looking over towards the Abbey on top of the cliffs with the old town nestling beneath it. I have painted it in oils on a 30 x 20 inch panel. It is varnished and ready to hang if you buy it with the frame. The price includes the frame which is a 2 inch wide brown wooden frame with an inner gold line as in the photo. The size of the painting plus the frame is 34 x 24 inches. If you wish to buy it unframed please contact me - the price will be 435 pounds.
