Stone steps, ancient artifacts,
within these walls, historical facts;
creative craftsmen,
made their own tools,
man came a long way
with the world he rules;
but have things gone too far
is the world like an old banger car?
Has the economy gone to our heads
with no thought for the millions now dead?
Historical disasters wiped out many lives,
History's repeating,
but are we heading it's teaching?
Covid 19 is worse now than in May
& I fear many are complacent, ignoring rules every day
All the grieving loved ones
should have their say!
If I was Prime Minister
I'd have Police on all streets,
sending people home;
except deliveries of our eats;
with no human hosts to live in
the virus would die,
I'd rather that, than you or I!
We must care for Mother Earth
And change our ways,
care for each other, stop selfish ways
or soon we'll all reach
our end of days!
Think of our NHS, how will they cope,
even if you get it mild, think of vulnerable folk
self-isolate, don't spread it around;
or on Earth, very soon,
there'll be no life to be found!

Sleeping Cat
Description:
This cute cat looks like he is really enjoying his cat nap, therefore I have tried to capture this precious moment. It is painted using gouache and acrylic on paper. It will arrive both, flat and window mounted on a cream card. It is a lovely portrait of a sleeping animal and I have to admit a picture of a sleeping cat is an appealing and comforting sight.
The picture measures: 35cm x 28cm. With the mount it measures: 50cmx40cm/20\" x16\".

Dream On
Description:
I love working with melted wax...and this painting was a joy to create!
I have used a special iron and tools to manipulate the coloured high quality bees wax on the perspex..
Look closely and you will see all manner of things in the painting--faces and little creatures --
I can see a rams head on the left hand side of the painting!
The other 2 pics are close ups..
The wax side of the perspex has been reversed into the frame to protect it.
The frame is a plain black one that suits the painting beautifully.
