Titanic (my past life)
A few hours ago dancing and singing a ditty,
music and laughter all Irish and pretty;
seems far off now as I run for my life,
corridors are flooded, panic is rife.
I was in third class, I'm just not priority,
there're not enough lifeboats to seat the majority:
there's shouting and panic as the ship starts to sink;
I'm cold and afraid as it tips in the drink;
the lights all go out, I hang onto life and cry,
I'm only 33, I don't wanna die;
then I'm plunged into the waters icy depths,
underwater now, I hold my breath,
hanging on for dear life I surface again:
a sea full of people, freezing, in pain;
the lifeboats move away,
they care not for our health,
they're ok Jack, it's every man for himself;
eerie and silent, the cold cuts like a knife
as we gradually lose the battle to hold onto our life,
'will I be remembered,' as I take my last breath,
and slowly I sink into the waters icy cold depths.

MR NOBODY
Description:
This Artwork was inspired by the poem. I didn't write this poem, it was in one of my books when I was a child and it said Author Anon so I don't know who wrote it but I loved it and it inspired this artwork years later! Can you see the peacock as well as Mr Nobody?
Mr. Nobody (Author Unknown)
I know a funny little man
as quiet as a mouse,
who does the mischief that is done
in everybodyâs house!
Thereâs no one ever sees his face
and yet we all agree
that every plate we break was cracked
by Mr. Nobody.
Itâs he who always tears our books,
who leaves the door ajar,
he pulls the buttons from our shirts
and scatters pins afar.
That squeaking door will always squeak
for, pity, donât you see,
we leave the oiling to be done by Mr. Nobody.
He puts damp wood upon the fire
so kettles cannot boil;
his are the feet that bring in mud
so all the carpets soil.
The papers always are mislaid,
who had them last but he?
Thereâs no one throws them all about
but Mr. Nobody.
The finger marks upon the door
by none of us were made;
we never leave the blinds unclosed
to let the curtains fade.
The ink we never spill;
the boots lying around you see
are not our boots;
they all belong to Mr. Nobody.

STONE OF THE HOLE (Cornish Legend)
Description:
This Unframed, Unmounted Watercolour is painted on 400g watercolour paper and is an impression of 'Stone of the Hole' Men - an - Tol in Penwith Moor, Cornwall UK. The Mên-an-Tol (Cornish for 'Stone of the Hole') consists of a holed stone 1.2m (4ft) across with a large round hole 51cm (20 in) in diameter, large enough for a grown person to crawl through. Either side of it are two upright stones, 1.3m (4½ft) high
Legend says if you pass a baby through the stone you protect them from Rickets, consumption and fever. passing through the hole was central to the healing process with importance being attached to the direction, the number of times (commonly 3 or 9) and the point on the lunar cycle.
It is 4,000 years old from the Bronze age and is known as a Portal to a safer future drawn from a timeless past. A Hag Stone, also known as an adder stone, is a stone that has a naturally occurring hole through it. Such stones were, and sometimes still are, believed to have magical properties. These supposedly include the ability to heal a snake bite, or see through the disguise of a witch or fairy by looking through the hole.
