Reeds In The Breeze
Description:
A summers day in a painting! Beautiful blue sky,turquoise sea,gentle waves lapping on the beach and poppies waving their pretty heads in the gentle sea breeze.
I have used lots of texture in the waves which are created with a palette knife,and thick paint for the poppies.
The edges have been left white but I can paint them to match the painting if you wish at no extra cost--it will add a week to 10 days to postage time though.

ABSTRACT WATERLILIES
Description:
Inspired by one of my photographs, an abstract take on waterlilies on a pond, by reeds. The background was painted in matt blues/greens and covered in cream to give it a vintage feel. For the main artwork I used a palette knife to give the rough texture, so the lilies would stand out. The canvas has painted sides and was very gently sanded to give it an intentional matt finish.
Painting comes complete with fixtures to hang, and also a Certificate of Authenticity.

I've used oil paints on a black background to create this painting...the sides have been left black and it does not require a frame.
Lots of shades of greens/ochres in the grasses which appear to be waving gently around in the breeze.
