This is a portrait of border collie Danny. He is a working sheepdog on a Pennine hill farm. This is painted on a standard stretched canvas based on a number of photographs which I took at his home and in his natural environment. Description:
Hope is one of Ros's original seascape painting depicting a passing storm with an atmosphere of hope in the sky and the calming of the waters. It has a great deal of presence and unfortunately the limitations of dispay on the web mean you miss a lot of the subtle, but important detail in this atmospheric painting. Will compliment most decors and would sit equally well in a modern contemporary, or more traditional setting.
