The Yacht, The Moon and The Lovers
Can you just imagine it? One of those journeys that you've both been planning for years, and after a great days sailing, you throw out the anchor to watch the sun go down and then the moon rise. A bottle of wine cooling in the ocean on a length of string and just the two of you, quiet, relaxed and in love. I adore painting the moon and love the reflections it makes on the ocean. It's an acrylic painting on canvas, painted around the wrap. It's 60cm x 80cm and looks incredibly impressive in even a big room. People say it wouldn't go in a small room but it was 'stored' on my tiny little house's wall between exhibitions and looked really great, so don't be put off by thinking it wont fit. Most artists will always understand if you really hate it on your own walls, I know I do and I would always refund the cost of the artwork if you felt it wasn't right.
An acrylic on canvas study in monochrome of a Highland cow. This style has been very popular so I have produced another slightly smaller than my other shown on this site which is now sold. The background is textured and the sides painted so no need to frame. The finished painting has been varnished.

This beautiful pink and purple tree was inspired by seeing the blossom on the trees, but with the bad weather recently i felt if i put it on a monochrome background it would depict how the signs of springtime and all its beauty was on its way, and even though the skies were dull, the beauty of the blossom and hues of pinks still shone through despite nature trying to dull it down.
Sunset, Perran Sands
Photographic Giclee print on FineART FibreMATTE 300gsm paper, using archival lightfast pigment inks. Paper size 23.5 x16.5 inches ( 59.5 x 42 cm ) Image size 21 x 12.1 inches ( 53.4 x 30.7 cm ) Limited edition of 25 Signed and numbered by the photographer (below the printed area) Another image from a great evening at Perran Sands. The sun was close to dipping below the horizon, and was nicely defused by some cloud cover. This stlye of photography gives me more pleasure than any other, and I particularly enjoy the post processing in B&W, as I feel it allows you more creative freedom than working in colour. Your feedback will be most appreciated.
