Part of my ''Yesterday'' series of paintings..
Photos do not do this painting justice..
Beautiful shades of purples and blues...the water has a lovely shimmer of metallic paint that catches the light.
I have used the same paint on the heads of the grasses, so they catch the light..
The painting is strung and ready to hang,,
its had 3 coats of varnish to protect it.

Hope is one of Ros's original seascape painting depicting a passing storm with an atmosphere of hope in the sky and the calming of the waters. It has a great deal of presence and unfortunately the limitations of dispay on the web mean you miss a lot of the subtle, but important detail in this atmospheric painting. Will compliment most decors and would sit equally well in a modern contemporary, or more traditional setting.
