Description:
This is Buster, a loveable rogue painted as a commission from a photograph supplied by his owners, although I did meet Buster in person on a number of occasions. If ever the film "Lady & the Tramp" were to be re-made using real life characters, Buster would be the stand-out favourite to play the leading role. This is painted on a standard stretched canvas and is framed in a contemporary tray frame measuring 68cm x 53cms x 35 mm overall. A New Summers Day
Description:
This large 36in x 36in deep edge canvas will brighten any room it hangs in.
A New Summers Day is my signature painting ,but has only been painted in this size once before.
Created using high quality oil paints, it has been a long time in the making due to my ill health..and could be the only one I paint for a long time.
Lots of lovely textures abound in the painting.
I have used a knife to create the waves--this gives a lovely textured finish, and the thick paint used to do the poppies adds more detail that stands out from the canvas.. There is a very subtle twinkle on the sea as the light catches it..
The painting continues around all of the sides and it does not require a frame..
P+P in mainland UK is included in price but personal delivery and hanging is possible, please contact me for details.
