A Tranquil Moment is painted in oils onto a chunky box canvas.Its part of my popular "Summer Day " series.

The poppies are waving their pretty heads in the gentle summer breeze. You can feel the peace and quiet and imagine yourself there in the warm sunshine.The tiny waves in the sea stand out slightly from the canvas.

Blue Waters
Description:
Blue Waters is a large atmospheric seascape painting by Scottish artist Ros Callander. It is painted on a chunky box framed canvas with the painting continuing around the sides of the canvas, to allow display without further framing.
I took inspiration for this painting from the beach front of the small coastal village of Inverbervie in North East Scotland, where I often go just to watch the waves and think.....I parked the car at the beach front and just sat and watched the hypnotic spectacle before me......it was stunning.

FAMILY TREE
Description:
Family tree seemed an apt name for this painting- it shows a daddy tree, a mummy tree and a small baby tree all together in a snowy landscape painting!
I have used prussion blue with a touch of black for the coldness-the bright white snow stands out lovely against it.
The sides have not been painted but can be if required at no extra charge-it can also be framed in a black frame for an extra charge of £15.
