The graduated complimentary colours of the three panels set off the raised textured centre sections which have been built up in multi-coloured layers to create embossed swirls of colour and depth. You can see gold and bronze tones and rich maroon red ripples. This is an attractive and fresh painting that would compliment most colour schemes. These paintings have been finished with a protective satin varnish.

It depicts the beautiful firey autumn Highland colours, with the sun shining hazily through the foliage and casting intersting shapes and shadows on the ground before you.
The truck of the Silver Birch tree visible in the foreground is painted impasto to give a realistic texture to the bark, and the bark continues around the edge of the painting to give the tree a 3D effect when viewed from the side....and adds to the overall depth of the painting.
