Description:
I painted this with the sea-bed in mind, using cotton threads mixed with acrylic paint to create a feeling of weed moving in the current, and beads are the pearls within the weed. This painting can be hung in anyway to your personal preference or space, and I have signed the reverse.

Description:
This painting was produced in my tiny ground floor flat, I made up every excuse possible not to paint here,
Too small not enough room, not enough light, ran out of paints, the list goes on! I had my close friends that gave me the encouragement and determination to paint against the odds, and have fun on the way.
This was a joy to do, love the detail, the slyness and shyness of this clever cunning fox.
Painted with oils on boxed canvas, no need to frame.

My biggest painting yet,a big challenge! I had to stand on my chair for this one. A very close and dear friend of mine gave me the inspiration on this piece, he got me back into painting again after a difficult time in my life and also in lockdown, it pulled me out of a downward spiral, so I owe a lot to him. I love the power the proudness and the elegance of this amazing animal, I've tried to capture all of this, the pure beauty of this fine mammal with his statement antlers. I have been working on this painting for ages.. my illness means I am not able to work as fast as I used to..
I have incorporated driftwood, sand,seaweed and pebbles into this painting.... The painting bit of the picture is done in acrylic paint...there is a subtle glittery bit on the sea that does not show up on the photos.I have used paint to depict the waves brushing over the sand.
The beach is so clean except for the drift wood,seaweed and footprints...just how it should be..
This painting is varnished and ready to hang in your home or office..

A New Summers Day
Description:
This large 36in x 36in deep edge canvas will brighten any room it hangs in.
A New Summers Day is my signature painting ,but has only been painted in this size once before.
Created using high quality oil paints, it has been a long time in the making due to my ill health..and could be the only one I paint for a long time.
Lots of lovely textures abound in the painting.
I have used a knife to create the waves--this gives a lovely textured finish, and the thick paint used to do the poppies adds more detail that stands out from the canvas.. There is a very subtle twinkle on the sea as the light catches it..
The painting continues around all of the sides and it does not require a frame..
