My biggest painting yet,a big challenge! I had to stand on my chair for this one. A very close and dear friend of mine gave me the inspiration on this piece, he got me back into painting again after a difficult time in my life and also in lockdown, it pulled me out of a downward spiral, so I owe a lot to him. I love the power the proudness and the elegance of this amazing animal, I've tried to capture all of this, the pure beauty of this fine mammal with his statement antlers. A wonderful and very personal painting, very close to my heart. Painted in oils on boxed canvas no need to frame.

Cheetah
Description:
This is one of my last paintings created in my studio, at the end of my garden.
I wanted to capture the face of this beautiful cat, and the stunning colours. It took me time doing this piece as I repeatedly came back changing and adding more, it's one of those paintings that gave me great satisfaction in watching it grow. White Horse Echoes
Description:
White Horse Echoes is a large framed equestrian oil painting in shades of pastel and white showing two white Spanish horses behind a white transparent veil. The style is impressionist and contemporary. The horses are galloping in a meadow filled with wildflowers with trees, fields and hills receding into the background. It is a very Sussex landscape. The painting was originally painted a few years ago in response to the horses and scenery I see around me quite often where I live. However, I recently decided to try glazing transparent white over the painting to make it more dreamlike. This is because horses are naturally dreamlike for me as I am allergic to them so canââ¬â¢t have much to do with them even though I find them really beautiful! It has made the horses both realistic and ethereal at the same time and I like the result. The painting has a basic white frame on it which makes the dimensions 54x44x1.5 inches in total.
