The Inaccuracy of Self Perception
Description:
'The Inaccuracy of Self Perception' is an original oil painting depicting how our own perception of ourselves is often very different from the truth. I can relate to the person in this painting as my weight has fluctuated over the years and the times when I have 'lost the weight', the person looking back in the mirror doesn't seem to change.
Painted on pre-stretched canvas and size is 60cm x 60cm (23.6" x 23.6"). All artworks are finished with a varnish for protection. Painting does not include a frame, the image is for illustration purposes only. Please be aware that digital images may have slight colour shifts to original painting.

Description:
I was mesmerised by the sea from the back of a boat. This painting depicts my experience of this watching the land move away as we came home. There is a little silver leaf underpinning this oil painting, so it looks different depending on the light, thereby adding to the sense of movement in the painting.
