An original study of a rainbow mare in Acrylic paint onto a reclaimed raised pine panel,
The original paint on the panel has been sanded back in places leaving enough to enhance the character of the panel.
The acrylic is layered onto a black background in a free flowing style to give the piece texture and depth.
she stands at an impressive 600mm height and 250mm width, showing off the array of colours making up a truly stunning piece.
the paint is sealed onto the wood using three layers of Matt spray varnish.
comes drilled for a hanging string and fitted with a hanging bracket to the rear.

The Man In Black
Description:
A hand made guitar shaped clock,
Made from one piece reclaimed pine panel,
All graphics and lettering burnt in by hand, no lasers used in production of my works .
The Man in Black is a study of Johnny Cash,burnt into the wooden guitar shaped panel, A brass shotgun shell top is inserted to mark the 12oclock position.
The clock is a battery operated quartz movement,
With brushed steel hands and a ticking second hand. There is a hanging loop attached to the clock mechanism.
The pine is stained with a light oak stain and finished with Briwax light brown beeswax furniture polish,
giving a deep lustre to the timber,
Each item is individual.
