Beautiful shades of purples and blues...the water has a lovely shimmer of metallic paint that catches the light.
I have used the same paint on the heads of the grasses, so they catch the light..

Dream On
Description:
I love working with melted wax...and this painting was a joy to create!
I have used a special iron and tools to manipulate the coloured high quality bees wax on the perspex..
Look closely and you will see all manner of things in the painting--faces and little creatures --
I can see a rams head on the left hand side of the painting!
The other 2 pics are close ups..
The wax side of the perspex has been reversed into the frame to protect it.
The frame is a plain black one that suits the painting beautifully.

Dragonflies and Foxgloves
Description:
This fantasy painting has been created using acrylic , oils and encaustic wax.Its mainly monochrome but I have added some colour in the form of foxgloves and dragonflies using melted wax.
The water and light coming through the trees are created using oil paint--it works well and gives a lovely translucent effect.
