I’m a self taught artist that has wanted to paint for years but never had the time… like so many of us.. then a cancer diagnosis forced me to give up work and gave me the incredible opportunity to follow my passion. Every cloud has a silver lining is so true.
I joined the local art club and just ‘let loose’. I paint every day that I can and couldn’t be happier. I paint all sorts of subjects such as landscapes, seascapes, animals, portraits… or whatever takes my fancy. I paint in acrylics but have dabbled in oils as well.
I’ve will take commissions if the subject matter is within my abilities.

I have only recently exhibited any work and so far only at local levels, a village hall near my home and online, however I was pleased to say that I sold several paintings at the Banff art club exhibition in July and won the award for the most popular painting (voted by the public) at the exhibition.
