I’m a self taught artist that has wanted to paint for years but never had the time… like so many of us.. then a cancer diagnosis in 2020 forced me to give up work and gave me the incredible opportunity to follow my passion. Every cloud has a silver lining is so true.
I joined the local art club and just ‘let loose’. I paint every day that I can and couldn’t be happier. I paint all sorts of subjects such as landscapes, seascapes, animals, portraits… or whatever takes my fancy. I paint in acrylics but have dabbled in oils as well.

I have had quite a bit of success locally and sold many paintings. I’ve had 4 of my paintings awarded people’s choice at various exhibitions, and recently won an award at the Gordon art exhibition in Inverurie.
I’ve won the Heather Slater cup memorial at Banff art exhibition in 2022 and 2025.
