Saskia Skoric

Artist Biography:

Saskia always had a passion for art at school and continued this into her adult study attending Maidstone College of Art and Design.  Having completed the one year foundation course there, Saskia continued to occasionally paint for pleasure.

It was when her three children came along that the real passion for painting returned.  In her 30′s Saskia began painting on t-shirts, firstly for her own children and gradually branching out into commissions as well as doing rather special birthday gifts as presents for her children’s friends.

Saskia has written and illustrated her own children’s picture book which can be found as a link on her website named Happy Knotworm World, please see website.

More recently, along with getting the children’s book ready for sale, she has been concentrating on more detailed work on canvas using acrylics, working on commissions as well as creating work for her own collection for future exhibitions. Her most current work has been studying the female nude, which has lead her to begin working in oils.

Saskia joined The Society of Fulham Artists and Potters in 2014 as well as the SAA.

Saskia is happy to accept commissions.
