Watercolour and ink painting of St Govan's Chapel, St Govan's Head, Pembrokeshire. Built onto the side of the limestone cliff circa 13th Century although it may have been erected, in part, as early as the 6th Century. Amazing that it is still standing with the sea lapping at it's feet.
Oil painting of the yard at 'Glan Clettr Fferm' ('Farm by the Clettwr River'), on the outskirts of Pontsian village. This scene caught the Shepherds Hut. which contrasts with the stone walls and faded lime wash.
These old buildings stand guard over the farmyard of Pwllfain Farm, sightless windows and empty doors. The current owners prefer a newer house. I love it's firm footings and dressed stone walls, ghostly in the fading light.
