Description: This sweet brown cow is part of a series of paintings entitled ‘On the Edge’. I wanted to explore how much, or how little of the subject you needed to see in order to still recognise it. Perhaps I should push this a little further and call the next series ‘Falling Off the Edge’! Of course, with some subjects, ‘on the edge’ carries the dual meaning of being under threat from ecological or environmental disaster. It, therefore, reminds us to tread lightly on the earth and steward its resources responsibly. Painted in acrylics on a 50x70cm canvas ready to hang. All sides are painted, as per Gallery hanging requirements. The work is signed on the front, and a Certificate of Authenticity is included in the purchase.
