These canvases are specifically formulated for watercolour, they are ideal for my style of painting as my artwork doesn't look like the traditional watercolour artists.The painting comes with the poem printed on coloured card and a certificate of authenticity.

Calf rock at sunrise, Ilkley Moor (2015)
Description:
One of my paintings from one my many series of the Cow and Calf Rocks. I constantly find these rocks as a source of inspiration. Ilkley Moor is not only famous for it's song, but also for it's magnificent Cow and Calf Rocks left over from the last ice age. These rocks have become a very big tourist attraction over the years with both visitors and climbers even from Victorian times and the rocks bear their names carved into the stone. This painting shows the Calf Rock viewed from the Cow Rock.

Temple Newsam Gardens, Leeds
Description:
This is a beautiful scene by the lake in the gardens at Temple Newsam in Leeds, Yorkshire with people enjoying being there in the summer.

The Malt Shovel. Break in the clouds (2012)
Description:
On Main Street in Burley in Wharfedale is an old building called "The Malt Shovel" (now private accommodation). This painting shows the sun breaking through the clouds onto the building. The Malt Shovel was a hotel built in 1880. Since then it has been a fashionable bar, a meeting hall and dance venue, a restaurant and is now four large apartments. This painting is 36 x 30 inches in size and is one of a series of six paintings.

Bloodstream
Description:
Bloodstream is one of my abstract swirl paintings in red which was inspired from a landscape. On completion I thought it resembled blood flowing through a vein, hence the title. It is painted in oils on a stretched canvas which covers all the sides so can be hung without a frame.
