This is a beautiful still life painting in oils of some flowers that were standing in my window at the side of a porcelain cat. It is painted on a 20 x 16 inch stretched canvas. One evening in 2010 at a Burley Art Club we had a "Van Gogh evening" where we set ourselves the task of painting our own version of one of his paintings and this is my resulting effort. I enjoyed the evening so much that later in my own time I painted another from the Sunflower series which I am happy to say sold almost immediately.
