Blue Waters is a large atmospheric seascape painting by Scottish artist Ros Callander. It is painted on a chunky box framed canvas with the painting continuing around the sides of the canvas, to allow display without further framing. I took inspiration for this painting from the beach front of the small coastal village of Inverbervie in North East Scotland, where I often go just to watch the waves and think.....I parked the car at the beach front and just sat and watched the hypnotic spectacle before me......it was stunning. Part of the new Serenity series of paintings. Tranquil and peaceful-painted in oil paint onto an unusual oval shaped canvas. The sides are staple free.
