Whitby Tate Pier
The ever popular resort of Whitby on the East Coast of Yorkshire, England showing a picturesque view of the Tate Pier and Sands with a few boats moored up at low tide. It is painted on a 12x9x1 1/2inch canvas on all sides so does not need framing but you could frame it if you wished and it has a coat of varnish.
Autumn Impression.The Malverns.
A large square contemporary gloss varnished acrylic painting depicting The Monument, London. I painted an animated fiery background to give the impression of flames reaching up to the sky as may have been seen during the Great Fire of London, to which the Monument was built in commemoration. It measures 910 x 910 x 38 mm (36 x 36 x 1.5 inches) and is painted on a deep set high quality cotton box canvas (380g/m2). The sides are painted so it doesn\\\'t necessarily need a frame.
Cadwgan Place, Aberaeron
Scarborough lighthouse, Winter sky (2021)
Painted on hardboard this is a painting of Scarborough lighthouse off the Yorkshire coast on a calm Winter's evening. What attracted me to this scene was the light on the sea and a general relaxed feeling which I thought would be best captured by painting it on board as apposed to canvas as I would get more of a smooth finish and I would paint it thinly with a less vigorous brushstroke than usual.

This cheeky robin is all set to defend his terrority. The impressionist style on the bird and leaves at his feet is contrasted well by the simple background. Reference image courtesy of Karen Gilks.
