Into the Distance
Calming mountain vista in graduated blues. The relaxing colours in this painting will complement most colour schemes and brighten any room. The painting continues round the edges of this box canvas so it is ready to hang with no need for framing. This creates a very simple but effective style. This painting has been finished with a protective satin varnish.
This original Painting is on a Frisk Watercolour canvas, 36 x 24 inches, standard width, the painting continues round all the edges. It can be hung any of the 4 ways, whichever you prefer. The canvas is 100% cotton, 250g per squared metre, acid free, with pine stretched bars and is back stapled. These canvases are specifically formulated for watercolour, they are ideal for my style of painting as my artwork doesn't look like the traditional watercolour artists. The painting comes with the poem printed on coloured card and a certificate of authenticity. UNKNOWN TERRITORY Trying to make tracks through the jungle of life; obstacles like triffids give us all strife; unknown territory, we have to get our feet wet, even if it's not what we want to get; but with the Law of Attraction we can be Masters of Creation, changing our emotions & feelings to alter our vibration. If we get the hang of it we can be living the dream; everything doesn't have to stay the way that it seems- we all have the power, so let's use it and flower!
This is one of my naive paintings which was inspired by a short verse written by myself as follows: Panda, Panda what do you see? Is it an elephant up a tree? Or is it Jack who went and sat on a boat going out to sea? I have painted it in mixed media and collage on watercolour paper and it is in a brown wooden frame with a cream mount as illustrated in the photograph. It is also available unframed for ã215 - please contact me.
One of my new "large" range of canvases. If you'd like to commission a smaller version of this painting please get in touch. Fresh contemporary painting of forget-me-nots. The pinky purple flowers are set off against an abstract textured background of coffee, chocolatey swirls. The paint has been built up in layers to provide depth to this painting and a fresh modern feel.
Vase and Blossom
I love working with melted wax...and this painting was a joy to create! I have used a special iron and tools to manipulate the coloured high quality bees wax on the perspex.. Look closely and you will see all manner of things in the painting--faces and little creatures -- I can see a rams head on the left hand side of the painting! The other 2 pics are close ups.. The wax side of the perspex has been reversed into the frame to protect it. The frame is a plain black one that suits the painting beautifully. If you would like more photos of the picture please contact me.. Encaustic art paintings are always very unique because of the very nature of melted wax, so you will never see another one the same!
