Nature Unleashed is a very large oil painting on canvas of an exuberant Sussex wildflower meadow featuring the South Downs, swallows and poppies. It is 72x48x1.5 inches. The style is semi-abstract and art nouveau and is very vibrant and colourful. It was inspired by walks taken in fields and woodlands around the South Downs in summer when the wildflowers are at their best and the poppies, in particular, stand out against the green grass and reeds. The scene shows an abundance of flowers in the foreground and trees and fields leading off into the distance behind them. Two barn swallows swoop over the flowers and you can see the patterns their motion makes. Swallows are birds you see often in Sussex and they are very much woven into the landscape of summer. The painting was made from memory using reference phots to add small details here and there. Memory painting tends to reflect how I felt about a place I have been to rather than ââ¬Ërealisticââ¬â¢ details as such and I like this way of working. What I feel about an English Sussex summer is that it is beautiful and wild and I am happy I caught this feeling and in such a large canvas! The edges are dark green and it is ready to hang, no frame needed
The Room That Waits.
Contemporary Chocolate Squares
Warm chocolates and browns make up this modern and contemporary painting. The graduated browns of the four panels set off the raised textured centre sections which have been built up in multi-coloured layers to create embossed swirls of colour and depth. You can see coffee and mocha ripples in the rich chocolatey colours. This is an attractive and fresh painting that would compliment most colour schemes. This painting is completely flexible - the individual squares can be hung in a line, in a square, close together or far apart, straight or from the corners diagonally - have a play! These paintings have been finished with a protective satin varnish.
A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION
This Original Watercolour includes Poem Printed on coloured card to compliment the Artwork & Certificate of Authenticity. A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION Stone steps, ancient artifacts, within these walls, historical facts; creative craftsmen, made their own tools, man came a long way with the world he rules; but have things gone too far is the world like an old banger car? Has the economy gone to our heads with no thought for the millions now dead? Historical disasters wiped out many lives, History's repeating, but are we heading it's teaching? Covid 19 is worse now than in May & I fear many are complacent, ignoring rules every day All the grieving loved ones should have their say! If I was Prime Minister I'd have Police on all streets, sending people home; except deliveries of our eats; with no human hosts to live in the virus would die, I'd rather that, than you or I! We must care for Mother Earth And change our ways, care for each other, stop selfish ways or soon we'll all reach our end of days! Think of our NHS, how will they cope, even if you get it mild, think of vulnerable folk self-isolate, don't spread it around; or on Earth, very soon, there'll be no life to be found!

Horse Metamorphosis - a large contemporary red oil painting of beautif
Horse Metamorphosis is a 31.5 x 47x.0.5 inches large contemporary red oil painting of beautiful gold Arabian horse against an abstract bright red background. The golden horse dances in the foreground inside a dark forest with mottled light falling in patches on the path out towards the clearing. The path leads out of the woods and into a glowing summer wildflower meadow. Veils of transparent bright red hang over the scene as the horse begins to emerge from that world into a different one. The painting was started years ago simply to reflect the happiness I get when looking at a beautiful horse but become something more when the red veils were added which gives it a real presence. The original message of the painting was that there is more to life than hiding in the dark. I think now the message is more that there are other realities and that is worth exploring them. It is painted on thin edged canvas painted red, ready to hang.
